Recently my house which is rented was decorated by contractors brought in by the owners. The decorators failed to cover my furniture with dustsheets and they then sprayed the radiators with paint. As a result of this my chesterfield was left with a covering of white paint. They then cleaned the suite with a man-made form of turpentine!!!(to my horror!) What I would like to know is what damage is likely to have been caused by both the paint and the turpentine? and what could i do to rectify the damage?
I am having a meeeting with the owners and contractors on Tuesday 18th July, and would appreciate it if you could give me some guidance on what steps they need to take to rectify the problem.
Your help would be much appreciated.
